About Us
Climate Action Berkhamsted
We are an umbrella organisation of groups including Berkhamsted Town Council, Transition Town Berkhamsted and the local community organisations who joined forces last September to organise several very successful events in the Town as part of the 2021 Big Green Week.

We have decided, under the aegis of the Council which declared a Climate Emergency in 2019, to continue to raise awareness of climate and wider sustainability issues with a view to championing local action and initiatives.
This website we hope will be useful to local residents and organisations who wish to find out what resources and expertise are available; we also intend to report on the progress of local developments designed to reduce Berkhamsted's impact on the environment.
